A key source of the reliability in the LS 3200ER is Symbol's patented Mylar® scan component. The frictionless Mylar scan element makes these scanners long-lasting. By eliminating engine wear the scanner will last much longer then most scanner. It also uses less power usage because no energy is expended overcoming friction. The LS 3200 comes with a limited lifetime warranty on the scan element.
