About Us
World Wide POS was
formed by individuals who understand the changing needs of today's small
businesses. It used to be that a store could get away with having just a
cash register to ring up sales. Times have changed and an old register just
won't cut it. Our customers demand more accountability for their point of
sales needs. Computerized cash registers have become the norm in many
retail stores because they provide the following:
- Detailed Inventory tracking
- Customer tracking
- Profit statements (how much of the money in the cash drawer is actually mine?)
- Reduction in employee theft and inventory shrinkage
The end result is that the business owner saves valuable Time and Money.
But the problem is that some systems cost way too much for a small business
to spend. This is why World Wide POS has come into the
marketplace: To provide POS solutions at minimal cost in order to maximize
the benefit to our customers.
Terms of Sale & Return Policy
General
- Payment terms: Bank Check, Personal Check (we wait until it clears to send product),
wire transfer, American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Discover
- Sales tax assessed to NJ state residents at 6% or current rate. Tax is applied to shipping also
- All sales are final
- World Wide POS will not ship without payment first
- Stated shipping rates on website are for regular ground shipping with UPS or FedEx
DOA
- If your product is DOA (Dead On Arrival), or stops working within the manufacturer's
DOA period (usually 30 days), World Wide POS will work to make sure customer gets
a replacement speedily, provided the product cannot be fixed over the phone.
Returns
- World Wide POS will not take returns of any working hardware product.
- If a compelling reason is presented for return of a working hardware product is made within 30 days of purchase, we may process a return subject to a 20% restocking fee.
- Any product sent to World Wide POS without an RMA and prior approval of customer service will be refused.
- All software purchases are final
- Under no circumstances may registered or unregistered software be refunded.
Technical Support
- World Wide POS does not currently have a technical support
department. We are glad to assist in minor software or hardware difficulties,
but technical issues are the responsibility of the respective hardware/software
manufacturers. Please ask your customer service representative about the
manufacturer's support policies.
Liability
- World Wide POS waives all legal and punitive responsibility
for any damage that occurs with hardware and software products purchased from us.
